Shake-Up At Information Ministry

The Deputy Minister of Information, Mr. Baba Jamal, has given the strongest indication that there is going to be a massive shake-up at the Information ministry to weed out saboteurs.

According to Mr. Jamal, any information officer caught in a deliberate attempt to sabotage government information project and machinery by introducing partisan politics will be fired or transferred. “We are very prepared to fire people and transfer people.

This is not a threat,” he added, indicating the he has no problem with officers doing their work professionally. The deputy information minister made the statement in Koforidua when he met information officers from the Eastern Region to discuss the “Branding Ghana inside” project.
