A small-scale miner identified only as Owuo in Adansi Wamasi, a mining community near Obuasi in the Ashanti Region, has shot his wife’s derrière for denying him sex for a year.
Owuo, according to Shaft FM reporter Nana Awuku Denkyembuo, attempted killing the wife for refusing him sex.
Nana Awuku Denkyembuo told Classfmonline.com on Thursday June 9 that the couple had been married for the past 14 years with four children.
However, the husband, who suspected the wife of infidelity, doubted if he was the father of their fourth child.
As punishment for accusing her of infidelity, Adwoa Darkwa decided to sex-starve Owuo.
The livid husband, who could no longer endure the ordeal after a year without matrimonial sex, decided to kill the wife. He shot her and fled. The wife, however, only got hit by the bullet on her backside. She has since been admitted at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi for treatment.
The matter has been reported to the Obuasi Central Police Command.
