Seventeen persons sentenced to a total fine of 14.5 million cedis

Kumasi, March 18, GNA – A Kumasi circuit court, presided over by Mr Ernest Yao Obimpeh, on Wednesday sentenced 17 people to a fine of 2.5 million cedis each for illegal lotto operation.

All of them pleaded guilty to the charges and will in default of the payment of the fines go to prison for two years each. The 17 persons were arrested by a special task force.
