Seven Die in Accident

Gomoa-Bewadze (C/R), Seven people are now known to have died in an accident involving a car which caught fire yesterday at Gomoa-Bewadze, near Winneba Junction. According to the police the seventh person, Madam Dzatugbui Apeatuwo, a 35-year-old trader of Lome, died at the Winneba Government Hospital today. The deceased was among three surviving victims who were severely burnt and admitted at the Hospital for treatment when a Peugeot caravan on which they were travelling from Aflao to Elubo caught fire at Gomoa-Bewadze in the Central Region. Six people whose names are not immediately known but are believed to be Nigerians, were killed in the accident. Meanwhile, the two other victims are responding to treatment, police said.
