Senior Administrative Assistant installed chief

Mr Aaron Edu Gyampoh, a 28-year-old Senior Administration Assistant of Center for Continuing Education, University of Cape Coast (UCC), has been installed chief of Breman Jamera, in the Central Region, under the stool name Nana Kwaw Fosu III.

Nana Fosu succeeds his late grandfather, Nana Tutu III, who died 4 years ago.

Nana Fosu III waved to the excited crowd as he was carried in a palanquin through the principal streets of the town, amidst traditional drumming and brass band music.

He later took the oath of allegiance before the Omanhene of Breman Asikuma, Nana Amoakwa Buadu XIII, who is also president of Breman Traditional Council, divisional chiefs and the people of the town.

Nana Fosu promised to collaborate with his colleague chiefs and the people towards the development of the area and to make education a priority.

Nana Amoakwa Buadu XIII, advised Nana Fosu to be humble, selfless and perform his duties as a chief to improve the livelihood of the people.

Mr Kobina Koomson, Director of UCC Center for Continuing Education, led a delegation from the University to grace the occasion.
