Senior Accounts Officer of Volta Region NSS dies

Ho, Dec. 29, GNA 96 The death is reported of Mr Francis Kwaku Klu alias “Cashman” 48, Senior Accounts Officer of Volta Regional Branch of the National Service Secretariat (NSS). Mr Klu was suddenly taken ill and rushed to the Volta Regional Hospital on Friday 22 December but died on the same day. Mr Ken Gyenfi, Volta Regional Co-ordinator of NSS described the late Klu as “a hardworking and caring man, who worked with zeal and commitment”.

“NSS was Francis and Francis was NSS,” Mr Gyenfi said adding “His death is a big blow to the Secretariat.” Mr Gyenfi said the late Klu, joined the Secretariat in 1991 as an Accounting Assistant and rose through the ranks to become a Senior Account Officer in 2004 through hard work. The late Klu is survived by two wives and four boys.
