Sempe Mantse secures injunction against media house

Sempe Mantse, Nii Otintor II has secured an interim injunction at an Accra High Court restraining some four people from further publishing defamatory materials about him.

In a case presided over by Justice Uuter Paul Dery, the defendants, Andansi Newspaper, Henry Ayi-Ado, Prosper Agbenyega, Thy Kingdom Judesey and Fantasy Production were ordered not to publish defamatory statements in the Newspaper until the final determination of the suit.

Nii Otintor II is claiming damages in the sum of Ghc10,000000.00 from the defendants for defaming him and a perpetual injunction restraining them from publishing defamatory materials about him.
