Sefwi-Wiawso (W/R), Aug 1, GNA- The National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Sefwi-Wiawso constituency at their primaries on Friday elected Mr Evans Paul Aidoo, former District Chief Executive for Sefwi-Wiawso unopposed. Mr Aidoo was returned unopposed.
In his acceptance speech, Mr Aidoo thanked the delegates for the honour done him and promised to work assiduously to merit the confidence reposed in him. He said judging by the good work carried out during his term of office as a District Chief Executive, he was confident that the people would vote massively to return him to power.
Mr Isaac Nyame Ofori, the incumbent MP declared his intention not to seek for re-election for personal reasons. He promised to support Mr Aidoo.
