Sefwi Subri-Nkawanta Installs Chief

Sefwi Subri-Nkwanta (W/R), Aug 25, — The Deputy District Co- ordinating Director of the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai District Assembly, Mr E.A Gidiglo has advised the people of Subri Nkwanta- Kojina to live in peace and ensure the smooth development of the town. He said they should not depend on the government to provide them with all their social amenities. Mr Gidiglo was speaking at the installation of Nana Kwabena Gyamfi the second, known in private life as Staff Seargent T.B.K. Osei, as Akwamuhene for Subri Nkwanta- Kojina in the Sefwi Anhwiaso traditional area at Sefwi Subri Nkwanta. He told the people that the district assembly will come to their aid if they make efforts to improve their living conditions. Mr Gidiglo urged them to refrain from wasting time to litigate on trivial matters which can be amicably settled at home. He advised the youth of the town to stay away from drugs because drugs can destroy them. Nana Gyamfi second who also the presiding member of the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai district assembly promised to work towards peace among the people of the traditional area. He pledged honest and dedicated service to his people and called for their cooperation. Nana Okyere Darko the first, the Nifahene of the Sefwi Anhwiaso traditional area appealed to the new Akwamuhene to help bring development to the district. Nana Okyere Darko urged citizens of the area to bury their differences and support the new chief in his development programmes.
