Freeman Nuzeh, 38-year-old personnel of a security company, was on Wednesday remanded by a circuit court ‘B’ in Takoradi for alleged incest.
Nuzeh, who pleaded guilty, would re-appear in court on April 19, for conviction.
Police Inspector Veronica Tibson, said the accused invited his 23-year-old niece, Grace Aguadze, who had completed Senior High School and was staying at Adidome in the South Tongu District, to Takoradi for him to look for a job for her.
The prosecution said, in January last year, the accused secured a job for Aguadze as a sales girl at Pink Lady Enterprise.
Insp. Tibson said in July last year, Nuzeh divorced his wife and took advantage of the situation and had sexual intercourse with Aguadze.
The prosecution said Aguadze reported the matter to her brother, Patrick Aguadze, who in turn informed their father at Amantin in the Mpohor Wassa District.
Insp. Tibson said on April 8 this year, the family met to settle the matter at Beposo near Takoradi and the accused was arrested and handed over to the Police.**
