Security personnel, election officials can vote on Friday

The Electoral Commission (EC) has advised security personnel and electoral officials, who could not cast their ballot during the special voting on December 4, 2012, to go back to their polling stations where they registered and cast their ballot on Friday December 7, 2012.

A statement signed by Mr Kwadwo Sarfo Kantanka, Deputy Chairman, Operations, EC, on Wednesday, copied to GNA, directed the security personnel who wish to take advantage of the opportunity to carry with them a service identification card to show to the Presiding Officers for them to be given the privilege to vote without joining the queue.

Again it said election officials may also show their letters of appointment as election officials to enjoy the same privilege.
