Security man stabs prostitute after refusing to pay Ghc20 for sex

A security man, Richard Afum, 36, has been arrested by the Prestea Police in the Western Region for stabbing a prostitute who demanded the payment of Ghc20 for her services.

Afum refused to pay the prostitute after having sex with her, triggering a confrontation between the two. When the prostitute refused to budge, Afum drew a dagger and stabbed the sex worker and took to his heels.

The prostitute, 33 [name withheld] recounted her ordeal to Atinkaonline.com: “He came to me on Sunday for business and I charged him Ghc20, which he obliged.

“However, after satisfying him all night, he refused to pay me [and] as I demanded my due, he stabbed me and ran away. My intestines gushed out and I was rushed to the hospital.”

Head of the Prestea Police Command, Superintendent Timothy Dassah confirmed the incident and told Atinkaonline.com that the suspect was arrested at his hideout on Thursday, adding that, he will be processed for court on Monday.
