Security man murdered at Drobo

Amadu Osman, a security man at Faama in the Jaman South District of the Brong-Ahafo Region, believed to be in his 80s, was allegedly murdered in cold blood yesterday as he kept watch over his master’s poultry farm along the Drobo-Sampa road.

The right arm of the deceased was chopped off and left lying beside the lifeless body.

His master, a poultry farmer and dealer in poultry products whose name was not readily available, as gathered by DAILY GUIDE, reported the crime to the Drobo police and was assisting in investigations.

The incident drew a lot of people to the scene, with some suspecting it was for ritual purposes, though no part of the body was taken away. The body has since been deposited at St Mary’s Hospital at Drobo.

The District Police Commander of Jaman South, ASP Stephen Ofori Akwesi, confirmed the incident to DAILY GUIDE but said he was busy and so couldn’t elaborate on it.
