Security man convicted for stealing

Tema, Sept. 05, GNA – The Tema Circuit Court ‘B’, has imposed a 500,000 cedis fine on a 29-year old private security man for stealing a gallon of paint valued at 100.

John Adjetey Mensah who was convicted on his own plea will be jailed for three months in default.

Prosecuting, Police Inspector Teye Matey told the Court presided over by Mr Stephen Teye, that the accused stole the paint while on night duty on September 24, 2004, at the International Gospel Church at Sakumono, leading to his arrest.
