Security heads assure Prez Mahama of their loyalty

The country’s security Chiefs have pledged their unflinching loyalty and commitment to ensuring peace and offering maximum protection to the President John Dramani Mahama and the citizenry in the wake of President Mills’ death.

Their pledge came after President Mahama met with Heads of the various security agencies at the Castle, OSU on Thursday.

This is the first meeting between the President and the security chiefs following the death of President Mills on Tuesday. President Mahama also met with his cabinet on Wednesday to deliberate on National issues.

Some of the security heads cited at the Castle include Chief of Defense Staff of the Ghana Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Peter Augustine Blay, Chief of Naval Staff, Real Admiral Mathew Quarshie, Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshall Samson Oje and Chief of Army Staff, Major General Jacob Narh Adinkrah.**
