SDA President in Accra for Meeting

The President of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church Dr. Jan Paulsen arrived in Accra on Tuesday at the head of a five-member delegation to consult with the leadership of the church in Africa. The three-day extraordinary meeting in Accra brings together the entire leadership of the Adventist Church in Africa to discuss the re-organisation of the church and its administrative boundaries in Africa. It is a prelude to the forthcoming world conference of the SDA Church to be held in the United States of America towards the end of the year. Briefing newsmen at the airport, Dr. Paulsen expressed his delight to be back in Ghana, which he first visited 40 years ago as a missionary in Bekwai, Ashanti Region.
