Nkoranza (B/A) Jan. 10, GNA- A five-day annual youth camp meeting of the Mid-West Ghana Conference (MGC) of the Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church, has ended at Nkoranza with a call on the youth to avoid anti-social practices that could mar their future.

Pastor Eric Mensah-Aborampah, Youth Director of MGC, who made the call said: “As future leaders … you should lead morally upright lives to enable you to become responsible citizens to lead the church to grow and to contribute meaningfully to national development”.

About 245 members of the youth drawn from Nkoranza North and South districts attended the programme, which was on the theme: “United in warmth of fellowship, a disciplined youth”.

Pastor Mensah-Aborampah cautioned the youth against pre-marital sex to avoid contracting HIV/AIDS.

He urged the youth to take their education seriously and to get actively involved in programmes aimed at helping them to improve on their potentials.

Mr Kwame Ampofo-Twumasi, Nkoranza District Chief Executive advised the youth to be law-abiding, and to respect people in authority. They must exhibit the spirit of voluntarism by engaging actively in community initiated development programmes.
