Scores of local air passengers stranded in the air

Scores of domestic air passengers are stranded both in the air and on the ground due to bad weather at the Kumasi Airport.

Two flights – Antrak and Fly 540 – conveying passengers to Kumasi could not land at the Airport because of poor visibility owing to foggy weather.

The flights were diverted to their ports of origin and have been hovering about in the air looking for the nearest available airport to land.

Meanwhile, scores of stranded passengers billed to fly from Kumasi to other parts of the country are agitated at the Airport.

They are demanding a refund to make alternative arrangements for their travel.
