SCISA donates blood to KATH

Kumasi, April 9, GNA – The Science Student Association (SCISA) of the College of Sciences of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has donated 124 pints of blood to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.

The donation formed part of activities to mark the Science Week celebration of the association.

Other activities planned for the celebration include counselling, tree planting and free eye screening.

Mr Percy Korsah, a former President of Biological Students Association, commended members of the association for donating blood and pledged SCISA’s regular support for KATH in blood donations. Mr Kofi Adu, Blood Organiser at the KATH, praised the students. 09 April 07
