Science culture

Accra, June 30 Professor F.K.A. Allotey, Chairman of Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) today urged the scientific community to create a science culture among the people.

Opening a one-week exhibition at the CSIR to mark African scientific renaissance day, Prof Allotey said science and technology are “indispensable for sustaining life on the planet earth and more especially in our immediate environment of air, land and sea”.

He said it is in light of these concerns that the creation of awareness must become the major pre-occupation of all, especially , the scientific community.
