School bus turned into cargo car to transport firewood

A decision by authorities of the Evangelical Presbyterian College of Education to use their school bus to transport firewood has caught the attention of the Ministry of Education, with the sector Minister, Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, reportedly angry over the act.

The EICHER bus with registration number G 158 – 16 GH which was given to the school some few months ago was spotted heavily loaded with firewood and transporting it to the school’s premises at Amedzofe for usage by the pantry.

The day of the incident is immediately not known.

However, Kasapafmonline.com can authoritatively state that the Principal of the College, Rev. Sylvanus Tettey, has been summoned to Accra, Friday, May 12, 2017, by the Minister of Education to respond to why he should not be sanctioned for allowing the state property to be used in that manner.
