Scholarship for Ghanaian students to study in China

Accra, Oct 14, GNA- The Government of the Peoples Republic of China has awarded scholarship to five students to enable them to undertake a year programme in China.

The students aged between 12 to 18 years were members of an acrobatic and culture troupe made up of two girls and three boys. This was contained in a release signed by Mr. Nelson Akatey, Public Relations Officer of the National Commission on Culture (NNC). It said the five would join other students from other Countries and would be enrolled at the Wuquao Acrobatic Art School in the Hubei of China.

The release said the programme, which was part of the cultural exchange agreement between the Republic of China, and Ghana was to further strengthen the already cordial relationship between the two countries.

The five students are Vera Stephens, Vivian Stephens, Francis Nortey, Daniel Atta Lartey and Henry Armarh Ashitey.
