Sawla-Tuna-Kalba assembly gives to GES?

In a move to strengthen the supervision directorate of the Ghana Education Service in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba district, the assembly on Ghana’s 59th Independence Anniversary presented eight motorbikes to the directorate.

The number brings to 16 motorbikes that has been given to the directorate since last year to enable circuit supervisors execute their mandate.

Presenting the motorbikes to the district director of education, Chief Executive of the district Alhaji Mumuni Dramani said the gesture is to aid the education execute its mandate of providing quality education to children in the area.

According to him, this will cover the 12 circuits in the district therefore making monitoring easy for circuit supervisors.

Alhaji Dramani added the assembly will extend further support in the form of fuel in order to ease the burden on the directorate.

Receiving the motorbikes, the director of education in the district James Kala Ewuntomah, thanked the DCE for the gesture.

He pledged that he would monitor the use of the bikes to ensure its longevity.
