Samsung Ghana Limited supports Anwiankwanta Orphanage

Samsung Ghana Limited, an electronic manufacturing company, has presented a quantity of milk products valued at about GH¢5,000.00 to support the “Save Our Lives Orphanage” at Anwiankwanta in the Asante-Bekwai Municipality.

Mr Bilal Akbar Tetteh, Field Marketing Officer of the Company in Ashanti, said it was their contribution towards the upkeep of the orphaned kids hence the donation of the “Cow-gate milk”, a breast milk substitute for infants.

He said as a good corporate citizen, Samsung would continue to identify with efforts at bringing comfort to the socially disadvantaged and the vulnerable in the society.

He assured the managers of the orphanage of regular visits and praised them for their humanitarian service.

Mr Isaac Bennie Cooke, the Administrator, said they were grateful to the company for the gesture and appealed to individuals, churches and organization to emulate the example of Samsung Ghana Limited.

The orphanage has a population of 92 children.
