Sampana re-elected Chairman of Tema West NPP

Tema, Oct. 10, GNA – Mr. Paul Azure Sampana, was on Saturday, re-elected as Chairman of the Tema West Constituency branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at the party’s constituency congress held at the Mexico JSS in Tema. Mr. Emmanuel Atsu Doe and Dr. M.K. Antwi were also elected First and Second Vice Chairmen respectively.

Other executive officers elected were; Mr Henry Osei-Owusu, Secretary; Mr Patrick Larweh, Assistant Secretary; Mrs Beatrice Dickson, Treasurer; Mr Francis Poribo, Organiser; Mrs Christiana Mohammed, Women Organiser; and Mr Richard Mills, Youth Organiser. Mr Abraham Ossei Aidooh, Member of Parliament for the area, urged the constituents to close their ranks and work hard towards victory for NPP come 2008. Mr Aidooh advised the executives not to lord it over the electorates, but to see themselves as servants of the people they represent and lead.

Mr Sampana pledged that the executive members would team up with polling station chairmen and together explains the party’s policies and programmes to the constituents. He called for greater co-operation from all and sundry to that collectively, they could fight gallantly to earn for the party resounding victory during the 2008 elections.
