Samira Bawumia makes heartwarming donation to Tamale Teaching Hospital

Samira Bawumia, the Second Lady of Ghana earlier this week donated a consignment of medical supplies to the Tamale Teaching Hospital.

The donation, which was facilitated through the Samira Bawumia Empowerment and Humanitarian Projects (SEHP), is to help the hospital carry out its mandate.

The hospital which is the key health facility in the Northern Region has faced numerous challenges in its efforts to adequately care to the health needs of the population in the Northern part of the country.

According to Samira Bawumia, the hospital plays a “vital role in the development of the Northern Region and Ghana as a whole.”

Samira Bawumia echoed the President’s determination to ensure that country’s health sector is fully resourced to help distribute proper health care across the country and save lives.

She further expressed gratitude to the medical professionals working tirelessly at the hospital, to provide as much proper medical care as they can.
