Samira Bawumia canvasses for votes for Nana Addo

Some Zongo chiefs in the Upper West region have endorsed the New Patriotic Party’s presidential candidate and his running mate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

The chiefs according to Prince Collins Bening our correspondent endorsed the candidate because they have hope in the NPP and sure he will help transform the country better than the NDC.

Samira Bawumia, the wife of opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) vice-presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, was on a campaign tour at Adeiso in the Eastern region.

She reiterated that the NPP will establish the Zongo Development Fund (ZDF) to develop Muslim communities across the country if it wins power in December.

According to him, the NPP believes Muslims dominated communities – popularly called zongos – can be viable tourist attractions when a deliberate effort is made to develop them.

The party he explained has well thought out plans for the Zongo communities and has entreated them to vote massively for Nana Akufo Addo.
