Sametro Company supports widows

Sametro Group of Company on Saturday donated assorted items worth GH? 26,075 to 200 widows in Tarkwa- Nsueam Municipality and Prestea Huni/Valley District in the Western Region.

The items included bags of rice, cooking oil, tin tomatoes and undisclosed amount of money.

Making the donation at a ceremony in Tarkwa, Mr Emmanuel Owudo Quansah, Operations Manager of the company said it an annually event of the corporate entity to support the needy in the society.

He said as Christians take time off their busy schedule to evaluate their lives, they should extend assistance to widows, the physically challenged and orphans in the region.

Madam Akosua Korang, one of the beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to the company.
