Sam George supporters accuse E.T Mensah for his suspension

Supporters of the embattled National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary candidate for Ningo-Prampram Sam George are furious over his suspension.

They have accused his opponent in the party’s parliamentary primaries E.T Mensah and the Greater Accra regional chairman of the party Ade Coker of masterminding his suspension.

George was suspended by the Greater Accra regional executives for allegedly showing gross disrespect.

One of his supporters who spoke to Starr News said the decision will affect the ruling party in next year’s elections.

“The people went to the polls and have elected who they want. All this suspension and other things are coming from E.T Mensah, he has compromised the executives, it is clear. The party and regional executives have been cajoled by one person and it’s clear where it is coming from. None of the executives came to the constituency during the elections. They just want to paint Sam George in a bad light,” he alleged.
