Saltpond Hospital gets poly tanks for storing water

Saltpond (C/R), Nov 2, GNA – The Saltpond Government Hospital Advisory Board has presented two poly tanks worth 9 million cedis to the management of the hospital.

The seven-member board was inaugurated in September last year to support and to advise the management on enhancing services at the hospital.

Making the presentation at the hospital, Mr Ato Ahinful, the chairman, assured management and workers that every effort was being made to ensure their comfort to enable them to offer quality health care to the people.

Mr Ahinful said some measures the board had taken have started yielding positive results and said many of the problems of the hospital would soon be things of the past. Dr Abraham Martey, the Medical superintendent of the Hospital who received the items, expressed gratitude to the board and appealed to the district assembly, donor agencies and philanthropists to support the hospital.
