On March 04 and 07 a rainstorm devastated parts of the two towns rendering many people homeless. “The district assemblies are doing their best but the magnitude of the devastation is greater than they can contain.” He said in Salaga 3,350 persons were rendered homeless, 115 houses destroyed, seven school buildings were destroyed.

The Minister said two persons sustain fractures in their limps and shoulders and a mosque and a church were badly affected.
