Sakawa man arrested for kidnapping boy

Ahmed Tigani, a 39-year-old unemployed man, has been arrested by the Suhum Police Command in the Eastern Region for allegedly kidnapping a boy (name withheld) with the intent to use his hair and sperm for money rituals.

The suspect, who is currently on police inquiry bail, will be sent to the Suhum Circuit Court today for trial.

DAILY GUIDE has gathered that the suspect and the victim both live in the same area at Gariba – Zongo, a suburb of Suhum.

The paper gathered that the victim is a friend of the suspect and that the latter often sends the boy on errands.

According to a family member of the victim, last Friday Tigani gave the victim GHc 2.00 to shave his hair and later invited him (victim) to his house to eat.

The suspect allegedly took a blade and shaved the two armpits of the victim, his male organ area and used Sunlight soap to masturbate the victim, who consequently released sperms into a cup.

According to a source, the suspect, who is an internet fraudster, then put the hair and the sperms in the cup and kept them in his drawer.

Superintendent Yahaya Muchiraru, the Suhum Police Commander, confirming the incident to DAILY GUIDE,said after the incident the victim went back home and informed his parents, who subsequently lodged a complaint at the police station.

Supt Muchiraru said the police later stormed the suspect’s house to effect his arrest, adding that upon interrogation the suspect admitted that he shaved the victim’s armpits and his private part because they were bushy and that during the process, the victim masturbated.

The Suhum police chief added that the victim also admitted the suspect shaved his hair and used soap to masturbate him.

After police investigation, Tigani was charged with indecent assault and will beput before the Suhum Circuit Court today (Wednesday).
