Saint Theresa society donates to seminary

Kumasi, Oct 23, GNA – The Kumasi Archdiocese of the Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus on Sunday donated food items to the Saint Hubert Seminary in Kumasi.

The food items worth about six million cedis included three bags of gari, two bags of sugar, three bags of maize, three bags of beans, four bags of rice and quantities of cooking oil.

Mrs Nancy Amevinyeh, the President of the society, said the presentation was part of the society’s aim of helping in training the clergy and supporting them at all times.

She said the donation was in tune with the society’s patron saint who donated to the needy at all times.

The Rev Fr Philip Barima, the spiritual leader of the seminary, commended the society for the support and called on other societies in the church to donate to the school.
