Saint Augustine’s get a new bus

Cape Coast, March 18, GNA – Minister Mr Isaac Edumadze, the Central Regional Minister, on Friday presented a 58-seater bus valued at 500 million cedis on behalf of President John Agyekum Kufuor to the Saint Augustine’s College at Cape Coast as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the college.

The donation is in response to an appeal made by the headmaster of the college, Mr Francis Amissah, last weekend during the celebration of its diamond jubilee at which the President was the guest of honour. Mr Edumadze urged the student and staff to take good care of the bus. Mr Amissah thanked the President and said he was hopeful that the President would also honour his other promises to provide streetlights and more staff accommodation for the school.
