Sada Demo In Tamale 13th March

We the Young Patriots of the New Patriotic Party are by this Press release announcing to the general public that we will hold a mammoth demonstration on 13th March, 2012 against the government for using GHC 640m/6.4 trillion Internally Generated Funds (IGF) of the Ghanaian tax payer to pay fraudulent claims to its cohorts. The demonstration will be done through some principal streets of Tamale.

As part of the demonstration, we will seek the government to retrieve all such claims fraudulently paid and put into the SADA account for accelerated development of the three Northern regions. We will also as part of the demonstration and as a measure to ensure the monies are retrieved, collect signatures of all participants to present to Parliament, the Presidency, the US embassy, the UK embassy and other development partners such as the IMF and World Bank to put pressure on government to pay back the monies.

As part of the series of demonstration to be held by the Young Patriots to ensure the gargantuan monies are retrieved, we will also be on the streets of Bolgatanga, the capital of the Upper East region on 20th March, 2012.
