S.K. Boafo donates to Kasoa Pentecost Int’l Worship Centre

A well known transport service provider, philanthropist and CEO of S.K. Boafo Travel and Tours, Elder Boafo, has donated an amount of three thousand, five hundred Ghana cedis (GH¢ 3,500.00) to the Kasoa branch of the Pentecost International Worship centre in the Central Region of Ghana to be used for the registration of over one hundred (100) members onto the National Health Insurance Scheme.

In an interview with Elder Boafo, he hinted that seeing people suffer due to their inability to access quality healthcare owing to their lack of funds makes him sad and thus his decision to give widows was part of his firm’s corporate social responsibility towards such a cause to the people he fellowships with.

In 2015 alone, he registered up to one thousand (1000) people onto the scheme.

He further added that, he has a set target of registering about one thousand five hundred to two thousand (1500 – 2000) people onto the scheme this year alone in various parts of the country.

He however admonished others to also follow suit and support such causes with their wealth as the government alone is incapable of achieving everything by itself.

On receiving the amount, Rev Oppong Donkor, the pastor in charge of the centre expressed his profound gratitude to Elder Boafo for his kind gesture and prayed for the Lord’s blessings to be showered upon him in all his endeavours.

Elder S.K Boafo is a well known transport provider for the Newmont Mining Company in Akyem Abirem and Asanko Gold in the Dadieso area as well as other parts of the country.

His company, ‘S.K Boafo Travel and Tours’ is a hallmark name in the transport business in Ghana with higher reputation in the importation of vehicles and accessories such as powerful car batteries and car parts.
