Royal Bank supports Sefwi-Wiawso Police Operations

The Sefwi-Wiawso Police Station has been presented with brand new vehicle tyres to support of its operation.

This was a gift from the Sefwi-Asawinso Branch of the Royal Bank in response to an appeal from the station.

Mr Bretuoba Asafo-Akowuah, the Branch Manager, said it was their contribution towards helping to address the logistical challenges facing the Police to enhance their performance.

He said the donation was part of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility and pledged continued assistance.

Police Chief Superintendent Godson Nyarko-Amoah, the Sefwi-Wiawso Divisional Commander, said the gift could not have come at a better time, as their vehicle had been running on worn out tyres.

He thanked the bank for the gesture and invited all to help to provide the Police with the needed tools to fight crime and to make the society safer.

Chief Supt. Nyarko-Amoah reminded the drivers in the area to be more careful and avoid recklessness to prevent crashes during the Christmas season.
