Robbery attack: Ridge Hospital still safe – Authorities

Authorities at the Ridge Hospital in Accra are assuring the safety of patients at the health post following reports of an armed robbery attack there over the weekend.

The robbers reportedly made away with some valuable of nurses on duty at the time of the incident.

However, Director of the Hospital Dr Thomas Anaba told Starr News the incident is being exaggerated.

“On Tuesday, I am meeting the various heads of department and also the security officials. We are going to take a review of the security set up and if we need to replace them with new faces, we will. But the whole Idea is to improve security at the facility. We are doing what it takes to make the hospital safe and people who are found to be stealing items will be punished,” he said.
