The main and access roads of Kasseh, Big Ada and Ada-Foah,all in Ada East, are to be asphalted to ensure their longevity and for the beautification of the towns.
The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Mr. Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo, disclosed this at Big Ada and Ada-Foah when he held separate meetings with Traditional Authorities and members of the Ada East District Assembly.
He said the necessary paperwork has been finalized by the Regional Coordinating Council for work to begin on the roads.
Nii Afotey Agboo also donated GH¢2,000.00 towards Ada Traditional Educational Fund and asked the Ada East District Chief Executive, Mr. John Nurudin Ahortu to ensure that the Ada Traditional Council gets a befitting council hall to discharge its duties.
Later, the Paramount Chief of Ada Traditional Area, Nene Abram Kabu Akuaku III, thanked government for development projects at Ada and called for the development of the Ada Songor Lagoon into a large scale salt production area.
