Roads Minister commended

Alhaji Inusah Fuseini, Minister of Roads and Highways, has been commended for his exemplary leadership that has brought improvement in infrastructural development across his constituency and the country as a whole.

Madam Rossette Aliu, Publisher and Editor of the West African Regional Magazine, commended the Minister when she led a team of the magazine during a courtesy call on the Minister at his residence in Tamale over the weekend.

Madam Aliu’s call on the Minister was to enable her Magazine to present the Minister with a certificate of appreciation for his support during the second edition of the West African Regional Magazine Business and Leadership Award, held in Pretoria, South Africa in July this year.

It was at that Award ceremony that Alhaji Fuseini, who is also the Member of Parliament for Tamale Central, was adjudged the best performing Minister in the West African sub-region for the year 2014 by the Magazine.

Madam Aliu said the Minister had instituted a number of development projects, including education infrastructure in his constituency, thus enabling all to acquire education.

She said at national level, Alhaji Fuseini also initiated policies that led to improvement in the country’s roads infrastructure.

She also spoke about the Minister’s tenure as the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, saying he worked hard to fight illegal mining in the country.

Alhaji Fuseini dedicated the honour to his constituents and government for giving him the opportunity to serve them.

He gave the assurance of doing his best to improve the lot of the people.
