Road contractors in Central Region attends training course

Winneba, Aug. 23, GNA – The Central Region branch of the Association of Road Contractors, has organised a four-day intensive training programme, on Construction Management, for its members at Gyatekrom, near Winneba.

Addressing the closing session, Mr Kweku Ghartey-Sam, the Regional Chairman of the Association, said the course was designed to deepen the skills and knowledge of the participants.

He expressed the need for members to constantly update their knowledge and skills to be abreast with the rapid changing technologies. Mr Ghartey-Sam charged the members to take the training programme seriously adding that, only well- trained contractors could survive on the competitive market.

He expressed gratitude to the German Technical Co-operation, for supporting the Association over the past three years with training packages.
