Rising phenomenon of gay activities in the country

We (DailyPost) associate ourselves with Rev. Dr. Paul Frimpong-Manso , the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church in Ghana’s comments that the rising phenomenon of gay activities in the country is criminal and an abomination which should be thoroughly condemned.

We cannot understand why any normal human being will practice homosexuality or defend it. Even in the animal kingdom, male animals do not mate with their fellow males nor do the females mate with their fellow females. So, if goats and pigs have the sense to know that males do not mate with males or females with females, why should humans practice such a devious sex act?

Anyone who practices homosexuality has a depraved mind and has descended lower than animals. Homosexuality is not only degrading but an insult to God. Those who defend it under the pretext of defending human rights are equally guilty of insulting God. Soon, they would be defending bestiality!

Unfortunately, homosexuality is becoming a growing phenomenon in our country, especially in our boarding institutions and universities. The love of money has seen able-bodied young men surfacing the internet for white male partners with whom they can have sex for money.

Some very rich women are also using their money to lure young girls to bed. Even among the clergy, people who are supposed to lead the flock to God, some are practicing homosexuality.

It is time we halt the spread of this phenomenon by condemning it in the strongest time. Those who practice it must be shunned by those who abhour the practice. We must equally condemn the so-called human right activists who rise to defend homosexuality. We have no right to claim we are a Godly nation when we refuse to condemn, fight against and stamp out such a demonic practice as homosexuality.
