RIKAIR donates hospital equipment to Ministry of Health

RIKAIR Company Limited on Tuesday donated two new Life Elite Oxygen Concentrators worth GHc12,000 to the Ministry of Health for patients who need oxygen at hospitals.

The Oxygen Concentrators are capable of generating 95 per cent pure oxygen at five litres per minute and some of the components are the sure flow device which has five air outlets to serve five infants at a time.

Presenting the items Nana Yaw Asante, the Managing Director of RIKAIR Company, said his company had already donated the same medical equipment worth GH 13, 000 to some hospitals.

He said the New Life Elite Oxygen Concentrators could last for 10 to 15 years when well handled.

Ms Sherry Ayittey, the Minister of Health, received the items and expressed her gratitude to the donor and promised to send items to the rural communities.
