Ridge Hospital reopens May 22

The Greater Accra Regional Hospital, formerly the Ridge Hospital, will be reopened to the public Monday May 22, ClassFMonline.com has gathered.

The facility was closed down on Friday May 19, less than 72 hours after it was opened to the public.

The Head of Administration at the hospital, Emmanuel Taadi, speaking to Accra News’ Jedidiah Patrick Anarfi, revealed the shutdown was to allow for sterilisation of all equipment there following the inauguration of the hospital which saw an inspection of its facilities by the Minister of Health and members of the public last Tuesday.

Mr Taadi said all facilities are expected to be restored to prime working condition by Monday May 22 when the hospital reopens to the public.
