Ridge Hospital nurses call off strike

Striking nurses at the Ridge Hospital in Accra have called off their industrial action, Starr News can confirm.

The over 500 nurses of the facility embarked on strike on Tuesday over their unpaid March salaries.

The Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) intervened unsuccessfully to help solve the problem.

However, Starr News gathers that a payment agreement has been reached between the leadership of the agitating nurses and the management leading to the suspension of the strike on Wednesday.
