Reward for murderers of BoG Head of security

Accra, Dec. 5, GNA – The Police Administration on Tuesday announced a 10 million-cedi reward on the head of the murderers of Mr Arizona Stephen Donkor, Head of Security of Bank of Ghana.

Mr Arizona was killed when armed men attacked his residence at Gbawe. He managed to kill one of the attackers but was overpowered and shot dead.

It has also placed a five million-cedi reward on the heads of three suspects, who escaped from custody at the Odorkor Police Station last Saturday.

The three suspects escaped when they overpowered the Police Officer on duty, who had opened the cells to put in another suspect. They allegedly robbed and raped the popular musician known in private life as Ekua Amoah aka Mzbel at her residence at New Gbawe.

“Anyone who provides information leading to the arrest of the killers of the security officer, Arizona Stephen Donkor, will receive a reward of 10 million cedis while five million cedis will be the reward to anyone, who assists the Police to apprehend any of the Odorkor Police escapees”, a statement signed by DSP Kwesi Ofori, Acting Director of Police Public Relations, said.

The Police Administration said all efforts were being made to identify those, who murdered Mr Donkor and also to re-arrest the escapees and appealed for public assistance.
