Nkoranza, Dec 28, GNA- Mr Samuel Adjei-Poku, Revenue collector in-charge of Ahyiayem in the Nkoranza District has appealed to the District Chief Executive (DCE) Mr Kwame Ampofo-Twumasi to provide security for revenue collectors who operate at barrier posts in the district.

He said the security men would help in arresting drivers who would escape with goods without paying taxes and those with stolen goods. Mr Adjei-Poku was speaking to the Ghana News Agency at Nkoranza at the weekend about problems being encountered at barriers. He stressed that that the presence of police at such places would put fears into people who might have bad motives of dodging tax.
