Rev. Owusu Bempah leads NPP vigil in Koforidua

The founder and leader of Glorious Word Ministry International, Reverend Owusu Bempah, on Wednesday night led a teeming crowd of New Patriotic Party supporters at Koforidua in the Eastern Region, in a vigil to pray for the main opposition party and Ghana ahead of the 7 December polls.

Rev Bempah reiterated his prophecy that God has chosen and anointed NPP flag bearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to be the next president of Ghana.

“God anoints a leader before he chooses one. God has anointed Nana Akufo-Addo and has chosen him to lead Ghana from 2017. Whether some people like it or not, that is what will happen and that is the will of God,” the controversial pastor said.

According to him, it was not unethical for a pastor to campaign for a politician, citing Nathan in the Bible who campaigned for Saul.

Rev Owusu Bempah described Nana Akufo-Addo as a peaceful person and the best candidate God had chosen to lead Ghana.

He said ‘five’ stands for grace and the NPP’s fifth position on the ballot was divine.
