Rev Minister urged leadership of the country to be watchful

Koforidua, Dec 19, GNA – Very Rev Samuel Gyebi Danquah, the Eastern Regional Manager of the Anglican Education Unit, on Sunday called on the country’s leaders to continue to do things that are right in the sight of God for Him to continue to bless the country with the peace that Ghana is enjoying.

”God blesses individuals and society when their behaviour pleases him hence Ghana is enjoying the peace of God.”

Very Rev Danquah said kings and leaders who were blessed by God but moved away from the ways of God lost the pleasure of God and their kingdoms and nations collapsed.

He was preaching at a Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols at the Koforidua St. Peter’s Anglican Cathedral that the Koforidua Diocesan branch of the Association of Anglican Church Choirs (AACC) organised. Mr K. Dankyi-Tutu, chairman of the Koforidua Diocesan Choir, said the festival was organized to prepare the Koforidua Diocesan Anglican Choir for next year’s national conference of the AACC in Sunyani and to raise funds to support the activities of the association.
