Retain DCE for Prestea Huni/Valley Constituency – Gbedemah

Mr Michael Gbedemah, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Chairman for the Prestea Huni/Valley, has called on President John Dramani Mahama to retain the current District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr Robert Wisdom Cudjoe.

He said Mr Cudjoe had worked hard to improve the state of the district and therefore deserves another term in office.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Mr Gbedemah said through the leadership of Mr Cudjoe, the Prestea Huni/Valley Assembly can now boost of an ultra modern administration block, bungalows for DCE, district co-coordinating director and some other members of staff of the Assembly.

Mr Gbedemah noted that because of the DCE’ s creditable performance areas such as education, rural electrification, water supply, health, infrastructural and rehabilitation of roads have improved in the District.

He said failure to maintain the DCE will retard the development in the mining community adding that the executives are prepared to endorse only Mr Cudjoe and none other.
